If your child is participating in the Read to Succeed Six Flags Program, your child’s hours are due this upcoming Monday. Please send back all paperwork.

Valentine's Day

 

The class loved their valentines cards and enjoyed passing them out. We had a great time and I wanted to say thank you for all the lovely things I received. I appreciate everything, and I am up to my ears in chocolate! Thanks again.

 

Valentine's Party

We will be having our Valentine's Day party on February 13th. Once again, Mr. Evers will provide the snack and drink. You may send with your child a goodie bags for the class or valentines. We have 16 children in class. It will be an early release day, so your child will need to be picked up by 11:30. Buses will leave the school at around 11:25. 

100th Day of School

Groundhog Day

 

Happy Groundhog Day! 

Mr. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so there will be six more weeks of winter. Our groundhogs didn't see their shadow, but they still are a sight to see!

Working Out Our Wiggles

 

Today we had a bad case of the wiggles. So, we danced out our energy to the "Despicable Me" theme song! The kids had a blast!

Timelines

In social studies, we are studying about timelines and our community. We started off this unit by discussing what a timeline actually was. After looking at other people's creations, we created a timeline in class depicting the past, present, and future. The class did a wonderful job! See what you think.
